1) Provide information on CorridorCare (www.yoursecurecare.com/corridorcare ) to members and perspective members. This also includes our special rates for DentaChek, which is a regional DHMO.
2) Add links with carriers who offer bi-lingual marketing materials for medical insurance concentrating on individuals and families.
3) Sponsor healthcare forums in the community, with emphasis on small business. Outreach would include bi-lingual workshops and seminars.
4) Membership will receive legislative updates through the Newsletter. This would give our chamber the opportunity to lobby local representatives, as well as personally testify at hearings.
5) Join with the BWCC through our established "strategic alliance" in future activities.
6) Attempt to address health disparities within this community by receiving feedback from members on how to improve our systems
7) Educate this community on the importance of healthcare coverage
