Legislative Committee Goals |
|
• Establish a legislative policy agenda that reflects the interests of our members
• Analyze and evaluate evolving legislative issues on a timely basis
• Research and establish positions on key legislative issues of importance to our members
• Provide Chamber members with opportunities to meet with elected officials and participate in legislative initiatives
• Identify issues that affect business and economic development and conduct advocacy efforts at the local and state levels
• Strengthen the Chamber's position as a leader in the community by taking a proactive approach to making decisions affecting economic, business, and quality of life issues
• Maintain ongoing communication and relationships with all local, state and national elected officials
